So here is that "FREE" Two Dollar Coin! |
I soldered a ¼" by 2" lag bolt to the one side of the coin after machining the hex head to round and about 100 thou thick. |
Here is the lag bolt with the toonie securly soldered. I also had some 5 minute expoxy from a previous project so that should do the trick. |
I drilled a ¼" hole in the sidewalk in front of our home and epoxyed the bolt in the hole. |
27 August 2024, I did a sloppy job of cementing the coin in place. I also set up the camera. |
